We hadn't been in touch for a couple of years. We exchanged phone numbers and we spoke on the phone a couple of times and we've been texting quite frequently.

[일상 영어 Part 6]

I went out for dinner yesterday.

I went to a barbecue place that I often go to, about once a week.

They're open 24 hours so I usually like to go there late at night when it isn't crowded.

But this time, I went there a little earlier than usual.

I was expecting to see some more people but it was much more crowded that I thought.

* They're open 24 hours =  It's a 24 hour place.

B: It was OK. I didn't do much. How about you?
A: Me neither. I was (kind of) saving my energy for this week.

I went grocery shopping today. It was long overdue, so I had so many things to buy.

Normally, it takes less than an hour but it took almost two hours.

 * overdue: 기한을 넘은
